Mission: CEMEDAR's primary mission and commitment is to provide a range of professional conflict resolution services including mediation, conciliation, arbitration, and negotiation.

Over the last few years, CEMEDAR has been recognized for its leadership in the area developing mediators and conciliators through training and capacity building workshops sponsored by the Costa Rica's national Community Mediation program, (Programa Nacional de Casas de Justicia).

CEMEDAR has developed mediators and conciliators in Libera, Santa Cruz, San Ramon, and San Jose. In addition, CEMEDAR has been responsible for training conciliators and arbitrators with the Federal College for Engineers and Architects, (Colegio Federado de Inginieros y de Arquitectos), and many other professionals who include the practice of mediation and arbitration in their work.
